2012 Refresher
Hey All! I’m happy to announce that in January 2012, I’ll be rolling out a new identity and website to freshen things up a bit! I’ve been really fortunate to be part of Relevention Marketing’s Graphic Design team for the past 8 months, so I’ll be showing some great pieces from there and some awesome freelance pieces as well! Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas, and come check back in the new year for the new stuff
Design in Mexico
Betty & June Design
Hey all – it’s been a while since my last post (as usual) but the wedding has been taking up a lot of time. I’m going to be posting a lot of the print pieces I’m doing for it soon as well, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, I came across some beautiful branding pieces by Ryan Feerer for Betty & June, a boutique in Abilene, Texas. A lot of hand-stamped pieces (my favorite!) mixed in with swirly flourishes, a contrasting retro typeface and a pop of golden yellow – gorgeous!
Poster Child
There’s little that I enjoy more than going to a great concert -except designing a poster for a great concert! I got to try out a sharp little font family on this poster for the wonderfully talented Ben Sigston and Téa, that is both beautiful and functional. AW Conqueror – you can download it right here for free! Don’t forget to check out the concert itself on Feb. 24th at Joe’s Apartment in Vancouver, it’ll be amazing.
Catalogue design: a big/awesome/milestone experience
As my first complete catalog (I’m talking from scratch here people) comes to a close, I’m so excited to see all of the hard work and dedication materialize into something tangible. I had a lot of fun, learned a ton, and realized that there is WAY more to scaffolding than I ever imagined. I also came across a snazzy website that turns your pdf’s into glossy, sexy online flip-throughs. Peachy!
